Well, I don’t think I explained this properly, but I don’t think ad blocking is necessary nowadays, as long as you have a pop-up blocker of sorts, most websites don’t integrate ads that seriously reduce the “browsing experience”.

Adblock hasn’t worked on my work PC since i installed 1.5 RC2. However, it still works lovely on my PC at home.

Well, it’s working on 1.5 RC3, but obviously some things aren’t working properly. IMO, Adblock needs some serious work on it before I treat it as an extension I’d consider using. I mean, where is the white list (no I don’t want to use Adblock Plus).

Also, the external filtersets are just not comprehensive enough, and it doesn’t have some sort of “intelligent” ad blocking which would be required to get a 99% success rate.
